After six years of scientific research, involvement of fishermen, information and awareness-raising among the general public, and the development of management measures with institutional actors, the Life ELIFE project, co-funded by the European Union’s LIFE Programme, is coming to an end.
The final event of the project, which aims to mitigate bycatch and reduce the mortality of accidentally caught sharks, will be an opportunity to showcase the work of the entire Life ELIFE team and to discuss with stakeholders shared conservation actions for the protection of endangered species.
