MER  (Marine and Environment Research staff) participated in the biogeographical seminar that took place in Cyprus; during a networking event, organised by the National Contact Point for the Life Programme in Cyprus, within the framework of the LIFE Cyclamen project, the ELIFE Project was presented in front of many important stakeholders.

In 2012, the European Commission launched the Natura 2000 biogeographical process to help Member States and key stakeholders manage Natura 2000 as a coherent ecological network. This process includes seminars, workshops and other cooperative activities aimed at improving the effective implementation, management, monitoring, financing and reporting of the Natura 2000 network at the bio-geographic level.
